About the Founder
Hi y'all! My name is Cristina Garcia and I am the founder of The Social Hour. I am a what they now call local Ausntinites a "rare unicorn,” as I am beyond lucky to have been born and raised in Austin, Texas.
Using media and marketing skills I acquired throughout my years, I launched The Social Hour during my COVID free time. As The Social Hour grew, I decided to leave my job and pursue my passion of helping local businesses grow their social media and online reach full-time. I have quickly grown and added new faces to my team and many businesses to the roster. I love meeting new faces, and hearing about their 'why' and the passion that started it all.
